MediaSeal 3.5.6 released with Live Shortcuts, Avid ISIS compatibility and MacOS Sierra 10.12 support

We're excited to share some new updates to our MediaSeal file encryption at-rest solution, that make it even easier to use in post-production workflows. Take a look below.

Live Encryption Shortcuts

The addition of live shortcuts allows you to encrypted files incredibly quickly; you can now create a drag & drop live shortcut from pre-made encryption templates. Simply select the files for encryption within Explorer (on Windows) or Finder (on Mac) and drag them onto a pre-made shortcut. The encryption will quickly fly through, without the need to run the main encryptor client. You can see how easy this is in the video below.

Avid ISIS

A huge amount of effort has gone into making MediaSeal compatible with Avid ISIS.  You can now load your encrypted MediaSeal assets directly from ISIS volumes and with the new Fast Detection mode you will notice very little overhead to opening your sessions from ISIS.

MacOS Sierra 10.12

MediaSeal is now compatible with the latest MacOS Sierra 10.2 release, so you can continue to use your MediaSeal encrypted assets inside the latest flavour of the Apple operating system.

Improvements

In addition to the main features of this release there have been a multitude of stability, UI tweaks and performance improvements that will provide an improved user experience when using MediaSeal.

The team are now working hard on the next development cycle targeting the exciting Live Folders feature which will allow on the fly encryption of MediaSeal assets directly from your 3rd party applications. Watch this space for more information in the future.
